Held accountable by the Executive Director, the president is the chair of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. The President sets the tone and direction of the organization as a whole.
The VPOC promotes student engagement on campus, liaises with campus and school representatives, and represents RRUSA at on campus events.
The VPO promotes student engagement online, liaises with school representatives, and represents RRUSA at online events.
The VPSA deals with matters relating to student experience, student advocacy and student representation both on and off campus. They are additionally responsible for promoting student engagement through developing and overseeing programs and events.
The VPFS oversees the association’s finances, health & dental plan and U-Pass program. The VPFS is responsible for developing the annual budget, monitoring the association’s award and bursary funds, and supervising the annual financial audit.
The VPE is responsible for lobbying all levels of government, communicating with other student societies, coordinating external marketing and communication of the society, and developing issues-based policy.
At-Large Directors are members of the Board of Directors who don’t have a specific role or portfolio. They are full voting members of the board and contribute to its overall strategic direction and have more general responsibilities.
Collective representatives organize events to help students build support and friendship in their community. They execute campaigns to raise awareness of issues facing their group, finding ways to break down stigma in the broader society and improve accessibility for students to resources, programs and events on and off campus.

School Representatives advance the interests and concerns of the students within their school of study to the larger Board of Directors. School representatives must be a student in the program they represent.

All Board of Director positions are volunteer, however, perks are provided to members of the Board to recognize their contributions. Aside from the benefits of gaining experience in governance and non-profit business management, there are a few other perks:
Election terms are until the next General Election, approximately 12 months in length. Time commitments vary for each position based on their duties and responsibilities as well as the needs of their constituency or collective.
