The Royal Roads University Student Association is run by a democratically elected Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Students collectively elect their peers to represent and advance their rights and interests.
Board of Directors
The Board governs the association by setting the vision and direction of the organization. Directors are fiduciaries and are responsible for managing the association’s affairs.

Director At-Large
At-Large directors are a member of the Board of Directors but do not participate in dealing with the day-to-day operations and decisions of the Association like the Executive.
Collective Representatives
Collective Representatives organize events to help students build support and friendship in their community, execute campaigns to raise awareness of issues facing their group, finding way to break down stigma in the broader society and improve accessibility for students to resources, programs and events on and off campus.

Executive Committee
Providing executive leadership, the executive oversees the day-to-day operations of the association. Vice Presidents have assigned portfolios and additional duties.
Executive positions
Vice-President Finance & Services
The VPFS oversees the association’s finances, health & dental plan and U-Pass program. The VPFS is responsible for developing the annual budget, monitoring the association’s award and bursary funds, and supervising the annual financial audit.
Vice-President Student Affairs
The VPSA deals with matters relating to student experience, student advocacy and student representation both on and off campus. They are additionally responsible for promoting student engagement through developing and overseeing programs and events.
Vice-President External
The VPE is responsible for lobbying all levels of government, communicating with other student societies, coordinating external marketing and communication of the society, and developing issues-based policy.
Vice-President On Campus
The VPOC promotes student engagement on campus, liaises with campus and school representatives, and represents RRUSA at on campus events.

The VPOC promotes student engagement online, liaises with school representatives, and represents RRUSA at online events.
Staff
The Executive Director supports the president in delivering the mission of the organization. Led by the Executive Director, support staff and interns take care of the day-to-day operations of the association.

Executive Director
The ED promotes and supports RRUSA and is responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of RRUSA. The Executive Director provide support to students, alumni, the University, and the Board to develop an inclusive campus community through social, cultural, educational programs and activities. The ED is the primary communication link between the Board, the University, RRUSA members and the community of greater Victoria.
President
Held accountable by the Executive, the president is the chair of the Board and Executive. They set the tone and direction of the organization as a whole.
