The Association held its general election for the Board of Directors in October 2024, with directors assuming their roles from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025. However, some positions remain vacant.
Under the RRUSA election procedures, vacancies in elected positions, including those unfilled in the last election, will be addressed through a by-election. This by-election will take place from January 13 to February 15, 2025, to ensure representation and continuity in RRUSA operations.
By-Election Details
Nomination Period
Nominations for the by-election will be accepted from January 13 to January 26, 2025.
To submit a nomination, review the eligibility requirements outlined in the RRUSA election procedures, and complete the Nomination Form.
Campaign Period
Approved candidates will participate in the campaign period from January 29 to February 10, 2025. During this time, candidates can share their platforms and engage with the student community to promote their candidacy.
Voting Period
Voting will occur from February 12 to February 14, 2025. All eligible RRUSA members are encouraged to participate in the by-election to ensure their voices are heard.
