Opt Out of StudentCare Before Oct. 2nd

If you are a full-time on-campus undergraduate who is part of RRUSA, you have been automatically enrolled in StudentCare extended health and dental coverage. This is a mandatory benefit that has been included in your ancillary fees. The coverage period is from Sept 1, 2020 to Aug 31, 2021. For more info about what coverage you have click here.

Students who already have extended health and dental coverage (such as a parent or spouse’s plan) may be eligible to opt-out during the Opt-out period from Sept. 1st, 2020 to Oct. 2nd, 2020. Students who are not living in Canada because covid-19 has required on-campus courses to be moved online may also be eligible to opt-out during the opt-out period.

*Opting-out will not directly give you your money back, but rather will return the fee back to your RRU account as a credit.

*Students cannot opt-out if they are only covered by B.C. MSP.
